David Byrne

Skills and experience: A graduate of the University of Leeds with a double honours degree in Mathematics and Physics, David spent the first 3 years of his career at PwC followed by commercial management roles at BAE Systems working primarily in its Saudi Arabian business. David further developed his career at Marconi where he led several business units most notably securing contracts for the national network build of the UK’s SDH data superhighway and Broadband switching networks.

David has significant M&A experience including the successful exit of the UK’s biometric passport provider from private equity to 3M.

David has led the Allied Universal Electronic Monitoring business (formerly G4S) since 2011 to its market-leading global position today with customers in more than 40 countries including 42 states across the US.
