Skills and experience: Cobus joined G4S in 2016. His roles included Finance Director for Africa, Middle East and Risk Management and Commercial Director for Africa before being appointed as CEO Africa and Risk Management in April 2024. Cobus is a Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining G4S, Cobus worked in professional services and investment banking, and has held various executive finance and commercial roles in pay-television based in South Africa, The Netherlands, Mauritius and The United Arab Emirates. He brings a wealth of experience operating across multiple countries in Africa.
