History
History
In the year 1901 in Denmark Marius Hogrefe incorporated a company with the name Kjøbenhavn Frederiksberg Nattevagt. In the almost 115 years which followed, this company, which is now called G4S, has developed into the biggest provider of security solutions in the world. At present it operates in more than 100 countries and employs 585 000 people.
1990
On October 3, 1990, GROUP 4 SECURITAS a.s. was registered as one of the first security agencies in the Czech Republic. Since its beginnings, it has experienced enormous growth and it has soon become one of the biggest and most respected providers of cash and security services in the country.
The first service it has been providing since 1990 was guarding.
1991
In the spring of 1991 the first three armoured vehicles came which were used for the transport of cash. Intensive training of crews and managers has begun.
1992-1998
The rapid development in the years 1992-1998 brought building of branches in the whole Czech Republic. Also Cash Processing Centres in Prague and Brno and Ostrava were opened. G4S has become leader in providing services of cash transport and processing, including the ATM operation.
2001
Acquisition of the company Bankovni ochranna sluzba Inc.
2004
In the year 2004 the name of the company changed to Group 4 Falck a.s.
2006
In 2006 the ownership structure changed again, which separated the individual areas of business and two new independent joint stock companies originated: G4S Cash Services (CZ), a.s. and G4S Security Services (CZ). a.s.
2007
Acquisition of the company Brink´s C.L. Czech Republic Ltd.
2010
In compliance with the worldwide strategy and by unification of the corporate identity of G4S, both the companies have been bearing new names since November 2010:
- G4S Cash Solutions (CZ), a.s.
- G4S Secure Solutions (CZ), a.s.
2011
In 2011 both the companies celebrated 20 years of joint operation on the Czech market of security services.
2020
In 2020, the company was divided into Brinks and G4S Secure Solutions (CZ), a.s. G4S offers a comprehensive security solution. Our team of specialists provides a full range of services, such as security of persons and property or installation and management of security systems. We use international know-how and 30 years of experience in the Czech market. Thanks to this, we can provide our clients with world-class security.
