Hampden Park, Scotland's National Stadium, hosts a large number of major football matches and concerts every year. The security company we utilise to ensure safety and security at these events is G4S. This year saw a number of high profile semi-finals and finals in Scotland's national football competitions, along with matches involving the National Team. This was followed by 4 major concerts involving internationally-renowned acts. Many of these events drew crowds in excess of 50,000 people.

The senior managers concerned liaised with all of the agencies involved to a high standard and consistently displayed an ability to be flexible and adapt agreed plans to meet changing circumstances. They, and the staff for whom they are responsible, should be very pleased and proud of their efforts through what has been a demanding period of important football matches and concerts.
