In 2010, G4S was approached to assist KAS with the logistic operation of the organisation and what started out as a a project to clear the backlog of mail that KAS had received, resulted in a long term partnership to ensure that the orphaned and vulnerable children of South Africa receive handmade blankets from contributors from around the world.

G4S has assisted KAS in a number of ways.  Staff have helped sort mail, knit squares, sew together blankets and distribute them.  But, the most significant contribution to the logistics of KAS would be the sponsorship of a Knit-A-Square van to help Ronda get the blankets to those children who need them most.
