G4S becomes official partner of UPS in Kenya for courier services

G4S Kenya, the market leader for courier services in the country, and UPS (NYSE: UPS), one of the world’s largest companies and global leader in logistics, announced an exclusive partnership for domestic courier and logistics services.

Kenyan businesses of all sizes will benefit from UPS’s smart global logistics network and G4S’s deep understanding of Kenya’s local market to help them grow their export and import activities with better reliability and a faster domestic delivery service.

In Kenya, G4S has over 50 years of courier service experience having delivered everything from medical supplies, clothing, electronics and exam papers to remote parts of the country.

On an average day G4S Kenya collects and distributes over 20,000 shipments of all shapes and sizes and has robust measures in place including 24 hour backup and response for drivers, and a vehicle monitoring system to accurately locate our drivers.

This is all thanks to a network of over 140 sites, a fleet of more than 400 courier vehicles and motorcycles, an unrivalled knowledge of Kenya’s towns and terrain, and the security know-how to give customers peace of mind that their goods will be secure. All items shipped go through G4S’s shipment tracking system, enabling the effective tracking of parcels, showing their status and movement.

With three strategically placed large warehouses totalling over 80,000 sq ft of space, G4S Kenya can store goods for customers and offer same or next day deliveries to one of our designated pickup points or the customer’s specific location.
