Notification of Major Shareholding
The company was notified on 9 September 2011 by M&G Investment Funds 1 that, following an acquisition of voting rights, it now holds voting rights through 71,123,686 ordinary shares, amounting to 5.04% of the company’s total voting rights.
The notification confirmed that the 5.04% holding is encompassed within the 5.23% already disclosed under The Prudential plc group of companies and is not in addition to it.
