The UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and the UKTI Defence & Security Organisation (DSO) hosted the UK Security Exhibition to  Trinidad on Tuesday 23^rd February, 2016 at The Hyatt Regency hotel in Port of Spain. G4S Secure Solutions (Trinidad Limited had a presence at the exhibition and revealed   products that the security company intends to market in the very near future. 

Invitees such as the Minister of National Security, Brigadier Edmond Dillon , and other specially invited guests received first hand demonstrations of  products such as , the Executive Panic Alert. This is a security solution designed to secure the client while in their vehicle or on foot.  Through the use of GPS technology, G4S will be able to track vehicles and individuals in distress and know their exact whereabouts. An emergency response will then be dispatched to locate the client and ensure their safety.  As an add value, clients will also have access to 24 hour emergency roadside assistance.

Another feature product presented by G4S was the G4S Medical Alert. This medical alert is a stand alone wireless system using the client's phone line to generate an emergency call in the event of a medical emergency.  The client will be outfitted with a small pendant with a 900ft range, and can store up to 5 telephone numbers which will be dialed in the event of an emergency.  This is a great security device for the elderly as well as persons who suffer from some disability or illness that may render them inaccessible.
