G4S announces today its intention to place up to approximately 140.9 million new ordinary shares (the “Placing Shares”) representing up to 9.99 per cent. of the Company’s existing issued share capital (the “Placing”). 

In addition, G4S is today issuing its half year results statement covering the six months to 30 June 2013.
