The Facilities Management (FM) team reached a new milestone at the recent Hinkley Point C (HPC) Excellence Awards, securing three top honours for their dedication to the project in the UK.

Individual Excellence
Carrie-Anne Stone, who leads a team of 26 housekeepers in her role as Housekeeping Supervisor, was presented with the CEO Award. Maintaining consistently high standards and leading by example, Carrie is proactive when it comes to solving problems and, as a Mental Health first-aider, has provided invaluable support to colleagues.
Shayne Andrews, Support Services Lead, received a Gold Award for Championing Respect, after being nominated by colleagues. Shayne, an “excellent role model”, often carries out welfare visits in his own time, travelling to team members’ homes to check on them and offer support.
Collective Achievement
The entire 260-strong Housekeeping team won a Silver Award for Going Above and Beyond. This award recognises their tireless, 24/7 efforts delivering cleaning services across the whole site.
I’m extremely proud to work alongside not only these individuals, but our entire team who show so much passion to deliver FM services on the HPC contract - what a team!
