G4S UK Team Achieves National Health And Safety Recognition

A remarkable commitment to health and safety secures national recognition for a G4S Facilities Management (FM) team in the UK.
ISO 45001 certification

The G4S Facilities Management (FM) team working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) have achieved ISO 45001 certification, an internationally recognised standard for occupational health and safety management.
 
Among the criteria for the accreditation are a proactive approach to identifying, assessing and controlling health and safety risks, streamlined processes for greater efficiency and consistency in safety management and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.
 

Outstanding efforts

“The journey to this certification involved meticulous planning, rigorous implementation and a comprehensive audit process,” said Chris Joiner, Head of Health and Safety.
 
He added: “We’re delighted with this achievement, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our employees.”
