G4S FM shortlisted for seven industry awards

G4S Facilities Management has been shortlisted for seven industry awards. The company, which employs more than 7,200 staff across the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, has been shortlisted for the British Institute of Facilities Management, Premises and Facilities Management (PFM), Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service and the Building Futures Group awards.

For the BIFM Awards, G4S FM is shortlisted in the FM of the Year category for Julie Anderson, Contract Manager at the Food Standards Agency; Rising Talent in FM category for Cheryl-Anne Sanderson, Wales Regional Manager for the Ministry of Justice total facilities management contract; and in the Customer Service category for the G4S FM team at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, protecting staff, patients and visitors from the Ebola virus.

The Heartlands’ work is also a finalist in the PFM Awards Partners in Healthcare Facilities category and for the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards. G4S FM is also a finalist in the Golden Service Awards Innovation category for introducing a visual management system to improve cleaning standards and compliance at General Dynamics UK’s contract sites.

Cherly-Anne Sanderson is also a contender for the Building Futures Group Young Manager of the Year award which recognises exceptional young talent in the FM industry.

The BIFM 2015 finalists will be announced in August with the finals on 12th October.  The winners of the Golden Service Awards 2015 will be revealed on 23 October, with the winners of the PFM Awards and Building Futures Group unveiled on 4th November.
