G4S Facilities Management Appoints New Channel Islands Managing Director

G4S FM today announced the appointment of Deanne Le Gresley as Managing Director of overall business operations for Jersey and Guernsey. G4S has a unique offering on the Islands, with a complete service range for secure environments from cash transit to security, facilities management and logistics, in high profile sectors including banking, airports and retail.

As Managing Director, Deanne leads the senior leadership team, in addition to managing Channel Islands Hard FM services, Channel Islands Health and Safety and Ports of Guernsey working across the public and commercial sectors.

She is responsible for the main business processes, as well as the continuing development of the service delivery model for the Channel Islands. Deanne has been with G4S FM for two years, was most recently MD of the Guernsey business and reports to the UK FM National Customer Services Director Mike Jones.

Commenting on the new appointment, Mike Jones said “Deanne’s industry and regional experience is a real asset to G4S. Her challenge is to continue to grow our business in the public sector, financial services and tourism industries in Jersey and Guernsey, as well as develop our workforce.”

Deanne has a strong financial background in the public and private sector including States of Jersey Treasury and Jersey Telecom. She has specific FM sector related skills with previous responsibilities including capital expenditure for public property, building service procurement and profitability management as part of her accountancy background.

Deanne Le Gresley, who brings more than fifteen years of experience to the role, said “This new position gives me the opportunity to extend the G4S brand and expertise across the commercial and public sectors.  As a global organisation we have in depth experience across all areas of facilities management and can offer a progressive service.
