Our Patient Transport Service supports our NHS customers with non-emergency patient transport services and high-dependency transport - the types of journeys that don't fall under the remit of 999.

 

Our service is patient-centric and is delivered by qualified, competent and caring crews. We operate with our specialised vehicle fleet that meets the needs of our patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to use Patient Transport Services?
In general terms, PTS is designed to support those with medical or physical conditions that are unable to use public transport, cannot get a lift or drive themselves to and from NHS appointments. There are specific eligibility criteria set by Integrated Care Boards that determine which patients are able to use the service.
 
For more information or to book transport, please contact 0800 096 0211. Our expert call-handlers are trained to accurately assess your eligibility and level of need, and will talk you through the criteria, helping you with any questions you might have.
How do I cancel or change a booking?
It is essential to contact us if you no longer need transport. Not cancelling transport impacts other people's arrangements on that day and may  prevent others from getting to their  appointments on time.

Can I volunteer with G4S PTS?

Does G4S PTS take part in community engagement events or activities?
We embed social value in our contract delivery and our Community Engagement Plan facilitates meaningful engagement and improves community wellbeing.
