This note is a clarification to a recent article in Delhi Times regarding a sensationalised brawl involving Ranbir Kapoor, on Thursday, January 12, 2012. The article was hearsay and not factually correct, both in terms of people mentioned or the actual incident itself. Gautam Sharma mentioned in the article is not a G4S employee. It was G4S security personnel that saved the situation by taking control of another agency’s bouncers who had surrounded the car. Following a conversation & written notice to Delhi Times, they issued a clarification and as close to an apology as we would expect to get from Delhi Times on Saturday, January 14, 2012.
