Our History
almajal was founded by Sheikh Mohamed bin Aboud Alamoudi in 1981 and has been always recognized as a market leader in the field of facility management and security systems services.
In 1985 a partnership agreement was made with ServiceMaster, an American facility management service provider, to be the first international player in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
almajal was born again in 2006 as a total integrated solutions service provider in the form of joint venture with G4S, a well known British brand and one of the major global players in the field of security services. The American security and facility management company Allied Universal acquired G4S globally in October 2021 creating a combined company of about 800,000 employees.
almajal was founded in 1981 when a major part of the Kingdom’s infrastructure was completed and a great need for services and maintenance emerged. At that time, the Company took the initial steps for seeking international expertise in order to build its services on a firm and professional grounds.
Subsequently, the company achieved that goal by acquiring a selected set of service licenses from ServiceMASTER Company of the United States – a global market leader and has service licenses throughout the world. Accordingly, almajal ServiceMASTER was established in 1985.
Since then, we have gained tremendous experience and we enjoy the full support of ServiceMASTER at all levels: Managerial, Technical, Training as well as Research & Development Processes.
In 2006 almajal ServiceMASTER had a joint venture with G4S plc where it was born again as Total Integrated Solution Provider named as “almajalG4S"
In 2004 Group 4 Falck & Securicor plc have merged to form G4S which is now the world's largest security provider having a turnover in excess of 9 billion US$. G4S has its headquarters in UK.
Today G4S operate in over (120) countries with over (585,000) employees. The company trades on the London & Copenhagen Stock Exchanges.
