The business will provide a range of security services at Hampden Park on Saturday including 24 hour surveillance of the site, car parking marshals, crowd searches, and stewarding when the two Edinburgh teams compete for the prestigious sporting accolade.

Nearly 600 G4S employees will secure the Glasgow venue ensuring that fans and players are safe.

The teams are two of the nine Scottish football clubs secured by G4S including Aberdeen FC, Celtic FC, Queen of the South, Kilmarnock FC, Dunfermline FC, and St Johnston FC, Rangers FC.

Fred Cucchi, Operations Director at G4S Secure Solutions Scotland, said: “This is one of the biggest events in the Scottish sporting calendar and attracts huge crowds which must be managed and controlled effectively to guarantee theirs and the players’ safety throughout the match.

“G4S has supplied security support at Hampden Park since it was reconstructed and remains best placed to provide the robust security required for an event of this scale.”
