As stated in our announcement no. 04/2004, Group 4 Falck has received approaches from a number of organisations indicating an interest in acquiring the Group’s subsidiary Global Solutions, whose businesses include support services and custodial services in the UK, South Africa and Australia.
No5 Interest in acquiring Global Solutions
As a result of a press release issued today by Geo Group Inc., Group 4 Falck would like to confirm that we have received a conditional offer for Global Solutions from the Geo Group for a cash consideration of GBP 200 million. This offer is not the only one received, and Group 4 Falck is considering the price and terms of this and other offers taking into account what would be in the best interest of our shareholders and the company. Therefore, no decision has been made yet as to whether Global Solutions will be divested.
