Group4 Securicor plc Report, Accounts and Authority to Purchase Shares

The company will shortly be posting to shareholders the report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2004 which will include the notice of the Annual General Meeting to be held on 30 June 2005.

At the AGM the company will, for the first time, be seeking a general authority from its shareholders to make market purchases for up to 10% of its own shares.

The Board has no present intention of utilising this authority once provided, but believes it appropriate to obtain this flexibility in accordance with common business practice.
