G4S plc, the world’s leading security company, today announces the sale of G4S Venezuela. The disposal is in line with the group's portfolio management strategy to enhance performance and bring greater strategic focus to the business. This will be the tenth business the group has sold since 1 January 2016. The sale is due to close in early December 2016.

G4S has also completed the closure of its cash in transit business in Costa Rica. G4S remains the leading private security company in Costa Rica, with over 2,200 guards nationwide.
