In Kenya, working in liaison with relevant authorities, G4S offers fire brigade and ambulance services – including emergency medical care, rapid intervention and evacuation services.

When their staff became trapped in floodwater when the Ole Ndume River burst its banks, it was G4S Kenya’s Control Room that received the distress call.

In particular, Control Room Supervisor Wycliffe Maoga and the alarm team were thanked by the customer for responding immediately and correctly assessing the situation, leading to a speedy and accurate rescue operation with “a record turnaround time”.

Shortly after the distress call, G4S Kenya first responders were on the scene to successfully and promptly rescue the stranded motorists.

Thanks to the whole team involved, from the Control Room to the first responders, for truly bringing G4S values to life by being AGILE and RELIABLE and acting with exceptional TEAMWORK.
